  Your views and ideas on forum areas and organization?

  this may come as a shock to some people, but the current forum structure was kind of thrown together without much real thought and then evolved a bit over time.

  there are a few things that particularly grate on me and areas where i don't think the subjects work particularly well.

  'friends' is a bit vague and becomes a dumping ground, news & world events vs politics & current affairs is hard to decide sometimes, child abuse is a scandal but isn't contained withing 'scandals & coverups' etc.... with a new forum platform imminent, it's a good time to solicit ideas to improve things.

  It doesn't matter how many times I proof read a post the minute I hit submit I will discover a spelling mistake or a word, usally "the" in twice so I quite often edit my posts for that reason.

  most jws i know of do not put business deals in writing.

  they simply "trust their brother".

  the annual meeting of the governing body of jehovah's witnesses will be in october 2014.. .. in november 2013, just after the last one they published this now famous statement in the 15th of november 2013 watchtower page 16 paragraph 17 says:.

  "at that time, the lifesaving direction that we receive from jehovahs organization may not appear practical from a human standpoint.

  all of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not.".

  i really didn't want to add yet another change to my generation chart i produced a few years ago, but on reading this chapter in the new book on overlapping generations, it ocurred to me that they really are trying to pull the wool over our eyes.. .

  how can the governing body really believe this?

  how can they expect any intelligent person to just swallow this without complaint?.

  how long will it be before witnesses start getting jewellery made up with jw.org as the pendant?.

  can you imagine a nice gold neck chain, with a diamond jw.org hanging from it?.

  or a small ring with the logo on it?.
